Ariana Grande won’t be making her grand return to the stage after all.
The “God is a Woman” singer was scheduled to perform at The Cosmopolitan’s Chelsea theater in Las Vegas on Saturday night, marking her first headlining concert since breaking off her engagement with Pete Davidson.
But one day before the big show, she announced that she needed to pull out of the gig to focus on her health.
“Vegas, I’m currently working through some health issues and am beyond sorry I won’t be able to see u this weekend,” Ari wrote on her Instagram Story.
While the pop star didn’t specify exactly what was ailing her, TMZ reports that she is suffering from bronchitis and “has been sick all week.”
While some fans expressed their disappointment in the canceled show on social media, the vast majority supported the “Sweetener” songstress’ decision to put herself first.
“Ariana’s health & well-being > everything else,” one Arianator wrote.

This isn’t the first time that Ari has called off a musical performance while she’s on the mend.
In September, “Saturday Night Live” boss Lorne Michaels revealed that the 26-year-old bowed out of talks to perform in the variety show’s season premiere “for emotional reasons.” Her decision to opt out was made after the unexpected death of her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller. Kanye West ultimately stepped up to replace her.
Ariana has since made a few other televised performances – including her “A Very Wicked Halloween” gig and a stop by “Ellen” – but has yet to hold a concert of her own. However, the Nickelodeon alum hinted that she may be doing so sooner rather than later.
“I love u and so look forward to seeing u and making it up to u next year,” she promised her Vegas concert ticket-holders.
