Angelina Jolie’s Doctor Reveals New Details Of Twins’ Birth

Dr. Michel Sussmann, the man who delivered Angelina Jolie’s twins, has spoken out defending rumors about the actress and the birth of her newborns.

Sussman, who said he never broke patient confidentiality during a new interview with JTA, the Global News Service of the Jewish People, told the online magazine that she was a model patient.

“We had an excellent rapport,” he told JTA. “She is so, so nice and never complained about anything. There are negative things sometimes written about her on the Internet, but don’t believe them.”

Sussman delivered Jolie’s twins — Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline — by cesarean over the weekend, and in fact, on the Sabbath, at Nice’s Lenval Hospital.

He told the publication that Jolie was a real trooper during the birth of her two new children with partner, Brad Pitt.

“The delivery was very emotional and exceptional as Ms. Jolie is a superstar, but I think that it happened on Shabbat made it that much more moving,” Sussmann said. “It was not an easy operation — a second cesarean with twins is difficult — but it went perfectly and they are so cute.”

And Pitt was very supportive of his ladylove during the procedure, Sussman said.

“Jolie and Pitt were always laughing and having a good time together, even during the birth operation,” he said.
