Former “American Idol” finalist Paige Miles had a close call on Tuesday night when her car caught on fire and she was forced to escape through the window.
According to TMZ, the Season 9 contestant – who placed 11th during her season – was on her way home from a rehearsal session in Florida when her SUV suddenly burst into flames.
“The electric shut down, the car doors wouldn’t open, i jumped out my window and watched my mother’s Envoy blaze,” the singer wrote on her Facebook.
She reportedly escaped the blaze unharmed, but was crying, shaking and experiencing racing blood pressure as she watched her ride burn.
