Alfonso Ribeiro: Winning ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Is ‘Absolutely Amazing’

When Access Hollywood’s Liz Hernandez caught up with the Season 19 “Dancing with the Stars” winner, the champ was practically speechless!

“Right now I’m in shock, so I don’t even how it’s feeling! It is absolutely amazing!” Alfonso Ribeiro said, clutching his trophy while standing next to pro partner Witney Carson, who also took home her first “DWTS” win.

“Just the idea of wanting something and then achieving, that’s not something that happens very often in life,” the actor, who has wanted to take part in the show for nearly a decade, explained.

“I really feel like we were blessed, we’re blessed to have each other and wow, what a ride!” he added.

Witney was also blown away by their win, where they danced to victory over Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas and Janel Parrish and Valentin Chmerkovskiy.

“I’m like, what is happening right now!… Finally having this moment of winning it is surreal!” Witney told Liz backstage.

But Alfonso’s big win also came with some pain. The 43-year-old injured his back in his final dance, but he wasn’t letting it ruin his moment of the upcoming “DWTS” tour.

“I did hurt it a little more on that last dance, but right now I’m not feeling anything, I’m all about loving it and enjoying it… no pain!” he added.
