Adam Levine: Wedding Crashing Was ‘Surreal,’ ‘Amazing’

Adam Levine took a page from the Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson’s playbook this weekend.

The Maroon 5 frontman crashed a couple of weddings for the band’s upcoming “Sugar” music video, and made some lucky brides and grooms’ special day even more memorable.

“I crashed multiple weddings actually,” “The Voice” coach told Access Hollywood’s Liz Hernandez on Monday night after the show.

“David Dobkin, who is an awesome director and a really dear, dear friend, decided to revisit the concept of obviously the original ‘Wedding Crashers,'” he explained. “The only difference being we actually crashed weddings this time!”

The 35-year-old singer said the surprise wedding appearances were a great experience.

“It was really surreal. Amazing,” he said. “It was so much more amazing than I realized it was going to be.

“[We] literally showed up and played songs for these guys. They were surprised,” he added.

Adam – who just experienced his own wedding, when he married model Behati Prinsloo in July – was happy to add to the surprised couples’ wedding memories.

“I’m just glad they’re good memories,” he said. “You never know.”

And Adam didn’t leave without taking advantage of the sweets.

“I had some cake – the cake was tasty,” he laughed.
