Prince William and Kate Middleton’s sons are following in their parent’s footsteps as rugby fans! On Saturday, March 15, the Prince and Princess of Wales attended the Wales vs. England Six Nations Match at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, where they had to put their game faces on as they support opposing teams. In fact, William is a patron of the Welsh Rugby Union, cheering for Wales, while Kate is a patron of England’s Rugby Football Union, rooting for England. Ahead of the match, the couple spoke with injured players supported by the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust, which Prince William is also a patron of, and shared rare details about Prince George’s and Prince Louis’ love for the sport. “At weekends we go from one competition to the next,” William revealed, according to multiple outlets, with Kate adding, “Louis is six and he’s just started touch rugby and George is 11 and he plays a bit more. They do really enjoy it.” The Princess also reportedly noted how their sons have “been exposed to lots of different sports.” After England defeated Wales 68-14, Kate congratulated the team and posed with them for a photo.
