“Deadpool & Wolverine” was a family affair for star Ryan Reynolds, with wife Blake Lively and their four children all credited in the project. Now, he’s jokingly revealed which of his family members was the most difficult to work with!
On Thursday, Aug. 1, Reynolds shared a picture of himself dressed as Deadpool and talking to the child variant of his character, Kidpool. Turns out the child behind the mask is – spoiler alert! – his 7-year-old daughter Inez.
“Only co-star I argued with. Most people think Kidpool is the dirtiest. But she’s also pretty good at backtalk and never taking out the trash,” the 47-year-old teased in his caption.
Lively, who has been married to Reynolds since 2012, played Ladypool in the film. She recently revealed “Deadpool” comic book creator Rob Liefeld created her character back in 2010 because he was a big fan of her character, Serena Van der Woodsen on “Gossip Girl.”
The two also share daughters James, 9, Betty, 4, and son Olin, who was born in February 2023.
According to IMDB, the infant is credited as the character Babypool, while his older sister, James, played a Screaming Mutant. Blake and Ryan’s 4-year-old also appears to have had a role behind the scenes, the film’s credits listing Betty as “Hugh Jackman’s Wrangler.”
The three older children were at the premiere of the movie in July, where Reynolds joked to Access Hollywood that he might get in trouble with the law for allowing his children to watch the R-rated film.
“My three daughters are here to watch the film. They’re 9, 7 and 4. I’m probably gonna go to jail or something afterwards. My nine-year-old’s seen it already and she loved it,” he said.
