Roseanne Barr Sounds Off On Aging, Marriage & ‘Twittering Idiots!’

Roseanne Barr is back!

The outspoken comedienne is making her return to the spotlight with a new book, “Roseannearchy: Dispatches from the Nut Farm,” a new gray ‘do and a laundry list of hilarious revelations — including the brash advice she imparts to her grandchildren.

“I have five grandsons,” Roseanne told Access on Thursday at a book signing in NYC. “I hope I’m alive when my grandchildren get married, but even more important and better than that, I hope my grandchildren never get married and I tell them that.

“Don’t ever get married. It’s no good,” she added. “It’s a stupid idea and whatever you do, I tell them, ‘Never have children — it’ll just ruin your lives.’”

In addition to her acrimonious feelings toward matrimony, the 58-year-old former actress also “dislikes” Facebook.

“My family had to remove [Facebook] out of my hands. I couldn’t stop. I was able to break the addiction, although it was a real hard cold turkey,” Roseanne told Access. “Once I realized that I just went on Facebook because I want everyone to listen to me and then one day I was like, ‘They want me to listen to them!’ And I was like, ‘I don’t want to be on here ‘cause I don’t care about anybody but myself!’

“So then I was able to break free,” she laughed. “I did Twitter, but I stopped doing that because people were a bunch of Twittering idiots.”

Roseanne revealed she may return to TV – but only her terms.

“I do want to be back on TV,” Roseanne told Access. “If anyone can figure out how to get me on there where I don’t have to talk to anybody wearing a suit, I would do it.”
