Jessica Alba Dishes On Marital Insecurity: ‘I Get Really Crazy’

Take comfort, ladies – even Jessica Alba gets jealous!

The “Machete” star recently sat down with Access Hollywood’s guest correspondent (and fellow “Little Fockers” actress), Teri Polo, and dished on drawing from her personal marital experiences to play a sexy pharmaceutical rep who distracts the Byrnes / Focker men in the latest installment of the “Meet the Parents” franchise.

“Was it difficult playing the other woman?” Teri asked Jessica, at the film’s junket on Sunday. “Playing the woman that, you know, might possibly make the other woman — me — mad?”

“Well, I’m a wife,” Jessica told Teri. “So, I know that even if my husband isn’t doing anything with someone that he works with, if they are even remotely attractive or have like, a little bit of energy, or if they even have a little like, cute word back and forth, I get really crazy. And I don’t make any sense.”

“Who would have thought that Jessica Alba would possibly have any concern [about cheating]?” Teri exclaimed.

“Are you kidding me?” Jessica laughed.

“[Actors] are the most insecure people in the world,” Teri added.

Despite Jessica’s beauty and star status, the 29-year-old stunner still wants to make sure the ladies are aware that her husband of nearly three years, Cash Warren, is completely off the market.

“[My husband] jammed his finger and had to get his [wedding] ring cut off,” Jessica told Teri. “He was trying to show off with his friends and trying to act like he was 18 again and so they all played tag football, and then played basketball after it and he [had to get] his ring cut off.

“He’s like, ‘Babe — everyone knows I’m married,” she added. “And I’m like, ‘Oh hell no. You’re wearing the ring again. None of that foolishness!’”

Catch Teri and Jessica (along with Dustin Hoffman, Robert De Niro, Barbra Streisand and Blythe Danner) when “Little Fockers” hits theaters on December 22.
