Harry Hamlin Says Belle Gray Break-In Not A Publicity Stunt

Harry Hamlin told Access Hollywood that he and wife Lisa Rinna aren’t like the Balloon Boy’s family and the recent break-in at their boutique wasn’t a stunt for their reality show.

“If I was going to do a publicity stunt for [‘Harry Loves Lisa’], I would get a big balloon and I would put the whole family in it and then I would get lost somewhere over the Pacific,” the actor told Access Thursday night at Lisa’s book signing for her new novel “Starlit” – a signing she did not attend.

“I’m not gonna rob a few things from my store,” he continued. “I’d think a little bit bigger than that.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, on Tuesday morning during an appearance on the fourth hour of NBC’s “Today” show, the reality TV couple discovered that their store, Belle Gray in Sherman Oaks, Calif., had been broken into.

Later that day, Lisa told Access Hollywood Live’s Billy Bush and Kit Hoover that they were happy no one was harmed during the incident.

“The kids are OK, so to me, you know, if the kids are fine, we’re good,” Lisa said at the time. “It’s just material things, we’ll get more.”
